While it is useful to describe an individual in terms of the nine behavioural styles defined by the Enneagram, the same is true of an organisation.

In analysing your business, we assess the current levels of the nine behavioural styles along with the ideal levels suggested by the people in the organisation. This points clearly to any over-emphasised behaviours and also to behaviours which may need to be displayed more frequently.

The values living in organisations translate into major driving forces that either support business objectives or work against them. Your organisation may have defined its intended values, but do employees at all levels really believe in them and consistently behave in ways that support these values?

The Adfen Discovery Process is designed to assess organisational values in terms of how they are experienced inside your business. Our process highlights gaps between intended values and how they are perceived and experienced within your company. We make use of two main approaches:

  • Questionnaire-based surveys: the results can be reported at various levels comparing company expectations with employees' perceptions.
  • Small focus groups: used to verify survey results and identify positive and negative aspects of work as perceived by employees. Potential improvement solutions are generated which can be formulated into practical strategies for change.

Typically, these two processes are used in combination. The results, presented in a detailed written feedback report, can provide useful input into strategic planning & organisational change interventions which our specialists are also equipped to facilitate.
