Following a couple of redundancies I had become very cynical about the corporate world. My attitude to employment had become negative and my motivation low. Having had a welcome break and a pause for reflection I realised that due to personal circumstances my immediate future remained in the corporate world. However drumming up the enthusiasm to apply for work and go through the interview process was a problem. To make matters worse the job market for my profession was going through a lean period; I couldn't afford to blow any interview opportunities that came my way. Unfortunately the few chances I got I wasted, my interview technique was poor, not that I thought so at the time. It took a while for me to realise and admit that I was the problem. Within a short period of time my outlook had changed and my self-confidence was boosted. Best of all I received three job offers within a two week period. Rather than being desperate to take whatever was offered to me I was able to pick and choose. I ended up with a great job with a large international organisation, much better than the one I had left. Interesting Case-study

This client was struggling with managing a career running two busy companies and being a mother of two small boys whilst alos trying to break in the coaching and training market.
The cleint was always striving to improve but never really felt good enough in herself to feel completely confident to change careers. There was always a tendancy to take on far too many tasks to keep busy. This of course sapped her energy and resulted in exhaustion. The E-scale coaching model proved to be very effective in getting her to make the right choices around her career direction.
